Tucson Tri Girls was founded in 2003 as a club in order to help women who were interested in triathlon to connect with one another. It's since become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is to serve women triathletes in our community of all abilities by providing support, training programs, events and advice to help our members achieve their goals. We encourage and promote triathlon as a sport and a healthy lifestyle and encourage contact with other athletes and the triathlon community as a whole. We welcome women of all abilities and we hope you'll come to a meeting to check us out. Our main correspondence is facilitated through our Google Group (Tucson Tri Girls) and TTG and Friends in Training Facebook page. We encourage you to join the conversation.
Tucson Tri Girls holds monthly meetings on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 pm. Speakers have covered topics such as open water swimming, nutrition, and training advice from local USAT coaches. We try to bring the topics our members and community want in order to excel in triathlon. Click on the meetings page for more information.
Tucson Tri Girls does its best to make triathlon more accessible with sponsorship benefits, group training and education opportunities. We have negotiated discounts from a growing list of sponsors. Discounts are available on race entry fees and at local suppliers of bikes and accessories, nutrition, apparel, running shoes, swim gear, wet suit rentals, health and wellness services and more. We are thankful for the support from our sponsors. Contact the President with any questions.
