The GRITfit approach is different.
GRITfit programming results in increased strength and endurance, fewer injuries, and greater mobility in the gym and in real life. But perhaps the most important work we do at GRITfit is aid clients in discovering the wisdom of their own bodies so that their movement practices are as beneficial as possible.
By providing prompts and space for self-reflection, we help you become more present in, and connected to, your body and your life. Just as bodies and lives are ever-changing, so too should your movement practice be flexible. As you practice listening for and appropriately responding to your own needs, you will become more skilled at moving in ways that are aligned with your current circumstances and goals.
Discovering your personal brand of grit allows you to choose movement that comes from a place of freedom and autonomy instead of a place of obligation or penance.
